When I have a new student I ask him/her to explain their priorities and objectives. Then I design a course which meets those priorities and objectives. I usually put up an objective at the start of each lesson (e.g. By the end of this lesson you should be able to: talk about the future / ask someone to clarify something / express an opinion / give a report, etc.) I use my own material. Of course all this has to be matched to your level (I teach all levels from beginner to advanced.) I hope to hear from you!

It's about helping you express yourself and understand others! You may need to revise some grammar and vocabulary, but that's not the objective. The objective is to get you at ease when speaking and/or writing. I'll send you a needs analysis to find out your priorities (talking about the day-to-day, asking questions, talking at a meeting, giving a presentation, preparing for an exam, etc). I'll show you what to do, then you'll do some exercises, and then we'll finish with you expressing yourself more freely, using what you have learned. Of course if you are preparing for an exam, we would concentrate more closely on the exam prescription. And we both have to stay calm and flexible throughout!

Resumé preparation and interview technique is critical when you are looking for a job.

For the resumé it's a question of adjusting the document so that it speaks to what the employer wants and values. If the position is technical you need to get technical qualifications and experience upfront. But if the employer values certain personality or character, you need to communicate others things, e.g. If you have done a parachute jump, say so. If you've won a cup for horseriding, say so. Probably neither is directly relevant, but it's all of motivation and application. I'll get you to think about these things.

For interview technique, I'll prepare a fact situation and then interview you. You have to be able to talk about things like why what you have done is useful to the employer, difficult situations that you have been in and how you've dealt with them, how you would react in hypothetical situations, etc. We'll do all that!

*Google Meetとは？

MeeCooでは、Googleが提供するビデオ会議ツール「Google Meet」を使ってオンラインレッスンを行います。
アプリのインストールもGoogleアカウントも不要。インターネットにつながるパソコン・スマホ・タブレットがあれば、今すぐ始められます。
レッスン時間になったらボタンをクリックするだけで、すぐに先生とつながれます。


STEP 2

先生プロフィールから自分に合う先生を見つける

MeeCooでは、先生プロフィールからレッスン内容・料金・レビュー・対応言語など、さまざまな情報をご確認いただけます。
複数の先生を比較しながら、ご自身の目的やレベルに合った先生を探せるのが特徴です。
はじめての方でも、プロフィールを見ながら安心して先生選びを進められます。


STEP 3

無料生徒登録で先生とのやり取りをはじめる

気になる先生が見つかったら、まずは無料生徒登録。
生徒登録をすると、MeeCoo内で先生にメッセージを送ったり、そのまま予約に進むことができます。
レッスン日時や内容を確認しながら、安心して受講準備を進められます。

STEP 4

レッスン内容が決まったらMeeCoo上でお支払い

レッスン日時や内容が決まったら、MeeCoo上でお支払い手続きを行います。
レッスン料金はサイト内で使えるコインでお支払いいただく仕組みのため、オンラインでも安心してご利用いただけます。
コインはマイページからいつでもチャージ可能です。

※講師側からレッスン料金の請求が届く場合は、メール内または講師とのメッセージ画面上部の「コインを支払う」ボタンからお支払いいただけます。

コインのお支払いが完了すると、「Google Meet」ボタンが自動で発行され、生徒・講師の双方に共有されます。
ボタンは以下の3箇所からご確認いただけます。

  • 配信メール（件名：レッスンコインの支払完了【MeeCoo】）
  • 対象講師とのチャットページ上部
  • レッスン予定ページ
